Hi all,
I want to buy a DVD player, searched throughout the net and ended up with this:
Either to buy Apex AD-1500, Apex AD-700 or Mustek 520/560 as they all support mp3, vcd, svcd, xvcd, xsvcd, dvd, cd-r, cd-rw, dvd+rw and can play any mpg recorded cd-roms and they are all very easily hacked for region free (pls correct me if am wrong).

As I will need this DVD player to be played in my PC too, in order to COPY DVD Films to my Hard-disk then convert them into DIVX Format, I wonder which one of the two (Apex or Mustek) has this facility to be connected to the pc (IDE or scsi maybe) and work as a normal DVD/CD player? Or is there any other type of player has this ability?!

if non of the dvd player can be connected to PC, what is the best SCSI DVD-Rom, to buy (looking for a region free and support all the above formats),
I got these to suggestions

1. Toshiba SD M1401 (10x/40x)
2. Pioneer U05S/305S (10x/40x)

which is the best of the two?

now I'm thinking to buy the Apex AD-1500 dvd player, and another DVD-ROM player (for ripping DVD Discs),

so what is the best IDE, DVD-Rom?
please suggest to me something
