I have had a problem updating the my firmware to the 1.1b. I heard on another topic that the CRX175A2 is the same as the ricoh 7240... So I updated my Sony firmware to the Ricoh 7240!!!!!! I had no problems using it, and I have burned quite a few cds with it. It is perfect now, the buffer never goes under 97% when it used to go down to 0% before! This is not a joke either! The ricoh updater never complained and it went smoothly. Here is the Ricoh firmware I used: http://www.cdr.cz/rekordery/ricoh/firmware/7240/mp7240a202.exe
