Hi i'm new to this forum and would just like to say how interesting it is full of useful info.

I going to try and backup my copy of Spyro on psx

using my liteon 16x10x40 i'm reading an image with clone cd
i ticked

read subchannel audio

Then i'm going write out the image file like this
16 x speed
ticked =

Hi, there are lots of different types of protection placed on cd rom`s .Try to download a program called clonyxl, this program works alongside clonecd.you can use it to scan a cd rom and it will inform you which protection is placed on the cd you wish to back-up, it also gives you the option to automaticly run clonecd and set the required settings for the protection it has just detected…? Sounds complicated but it is pretty straight forward if you give it a try….?
Good luck…

I don't know about the newer PSX games, but the older ones like Spyro are easy to copy. Just tick Read subchannel data, and Read Subchannel Audio, then in the write section tick the Do not Repair Subchannel data and it will copy fine. I always read at full speed and write at full speed. i never have trouble.

Visit www.cdrtimes.net too. Another great place....
