why would you need a seperate program (clonecd) to make copies of cds when i know you can do it in Nero with the copy cd function.

do these work the same? i dont have a personal cd writer yet, but i have one at work and have used nero to make copies of cds and it seems to work fine. whats the big deal about CloneCD

clonecd is useful for copying cds that have copy protection. most mastering software like nero can't copy these properly. if the cd you're copying isn't copy protected like games and some applications then the cd copy feature in nero and other mastering software will do just fine.
