Tried to burn some new games last week and could NOT do it (Shogun: Total War, Throne of Darkness). Have Nero 5.5.1 and got a communication error on CD-on the fly. When I tried to create an image file same problem. Then I tried using Clone CD with a protection detector and could NOT detect the protection and would not read the disk. Hmmm. So then I tried to cut and paste files onto new disk. Worked as expected but ID protection gets in the way. Message saying please insert correct CD-ROM.
Need help here guys. This is for all you protection gurus out there. Where do I need to start and what rescourece can I use to get past this. I have already been to the CD-R source guide site and they have alot of information but no real solutions unless I am missing something.
Let me know.

What tha hell?
