Is there an official firmware update for Lg H62N?Where can i download it?

LG was never good about releasing firmware updates for any of their drives.  If they made a change, they released it as a new model number.  I do seem to recall a beta firmware coming out, but never a final release.  I located the post by ala42 at the CDFreaks Forum.

Both firmwares can be used on either the H62N or the H66N. I have tested them both and my DVD burner works great.

Does H62n's new firmware increase error correction capabilities?

Just a minute ago,i did the firmware upgrade.This was my second firmware update trying in my life,so i was very excited and fearful(cause it's risky and i am very inexperienced about firmwares) ,first one was a headphone firmware update.
I am very happy that upgrade is completed succesfully.
I hope it's reading capability-error correction capability got increased.

Unfortunately,nothing about reading capability-error correction changed It still can't read cds which were written with my notebook's dvd-cd burner at 24x(it's max speed).But if i burn cds wihy my notebook's dvd burner at 8x,then Lg H62n is able to read it without problem,but then seems likes this mean H62N's burn error correction capability is not good,because my other dvd-drive are able to read the same cds.

I am using this dvd burner as the only optical drive-writer,maybe i should add another one.

I'm using a Pioneer DVR-212 and a Samsung SH-S203B these days... Very happy with those two... Of course I have my Plextors and BenQ drives around too... either in my kids PC or an eSATA case.

Unfortunately,Pioneer pc optics aren't sold in my country.
Is Samsung Sh-S203'b's error correction capabilities good?Does it able to read cds-dvds with writing errors good?
