My sister, downloaded four "very small" songs, and can play the on my macintosh fine, but we can't seem to get them to work on my PC, their extensions are mp3 "but they aren't really, and with all my codecs, and audio converters, I just can't do it, so I've come here for help. I you need here are the files via hyperlink "don't worry it's very small"

Thanks in advance, killalot57

I tried to open these files with quicktime and it worked!!! However even if the extension type is .mov "which I think it is" then that doesn't explain why they won't  get converted with my audio converter.

Try dBpoweramp or Easy CD-DA Extractor to convert.

I tried dBpoweramp and it didn't work, I don't think it's necessary to try more music converters, The first one I tried "my favorite one" that didn't work is called "protected music converter"

Simple rule of thumb, don't buy protected music.  DRM/FairPlay is bad... Sure, the corporations that run the record companies are no angels either, but I am pretty darn sure I can rip the CD's I buy to use on my iPod... have not had a problem I couldn't solve doing things that way yet.

I didn't buy it as a protected music converter, I just got is to use as a normal music converter, to tell you the truth, i've never actually even come across protected music.
