I think Bios is firmware, and if I'm wrong then "uh oh", but anyway I have a problem with my computer, and a friend "whose good with computers" told me to update my bios. I already downloaded the newest update "I hope/think" but I'm not sure what to do next. If I understand this correctly, do I put the ".rom" bio thing on a floggy then, just boot up?

Also, "sence I don't have a floppy drive or any disks for one", is there anyway to trick my computer by making a folder called "ROM(D)" in the computer folder and haveing the rom in there when I reboot?
