I have a Acer computer with the drive HL-DT-ST GWA-4164B. From a Fujitsu-Siemens site I have downloaded a file, FSC_100543 size 1.314 MB. This ZIP-file contains BIN-file W30F63NA and a program Win oneshot.
But on a HP site I have found instructions about installing new Firmware to the drive HLDS GWA-4164B. And I have downloaded its file sp26625.exe 3.26 MB.
My question is: Is this two identical drives and which program should I use??

This is an LG 4164 drive. I would get my firmware from LG if the drive is identified as an LG drive (as it appears it is).

Seems to be a good advice. Should I remove my Antivirus program, have no other program running and doubleklick on the file "Win oneshot". And then see what happens?
