Hello all

I'm new here, and any assistance to the query below will be welcomed. My problem is as follows: I have recently installed Nero 7 Premium on my pc and have encountered a rather strange problem. When trying to burn anything, using the burning rom or express, Nero refuses to accept my DVD writer as a valid drive. The error message i get is : "This version of Nero only supports Verbatim CD/DVD drives." I have an LG DVD writer installed. Can anyone help me?

Where did you get the Nero product you installed? I suspect it came OEM with another model of drive and you obtained it second hand. If it was purchased from Nero, you can inquire with them and they will fix it. I've never seen that message before.

It appears the copy you have is an OEM copy for Verbatim drives only! You will have to purchase a copy of Nero to use it.

I have seen this many many times. Your copy of Nero came bundled with a Verbatim drive.
