Hi!
I need your help! I made a whole movie for my band, burned to DVD-R with Adobe Encore and it worked on all DVD players I put it into. I bought a bunch of cheap DVD-Rs 8x 4.7GB (without anything written on the disks face) and copied my master DVD to the new cheap DVD with Nero disk-to-disk. I realized, that this new one only works in DVD players with divx reading capability. Can this be the disk? I wrote the movie again from Encore, but to the new  cheap disk and it had the same problem...only works on divx dvd players. So that is why I think it is the disk. Is this possible? Or somethings wrong with Nero?
Thanks for your help
Adam

It might be more...

What is the burner, what is the media ID and how did you burn it, on the fly?

I don't remember the burner. The media ID is TYG02. I heard this is a type they like to make bootlegs of. I burned it with Nero, from the reader to the burner right away. I guess it's called disk-to-disk...
thanks

If it is a fake TY then maybe, otherwise original TY are the best media in the market.

Don't burn from disc to disc, with on the fly option enabled. Better transfer the data first to the hd and then burn...in simple words just disable the On the Fly checkbox.

Also a new firmware for your drive would be a good solution.
Tell me the exact drive model and brand to tell you which firmware to use...
