Optorite DD0203 -- does it also play dvd media ?

i have currently a dvd rom 16x and a lite on 48x12x48x

with the new Optorite which would make more sense to keep as partner to the DVD+-R ?

i'm interested in backups and image recording

what i mean by DVD media is for example store bought DVD's

Yes the Optiwrite will play DVD media without any problems.

which of the two extra devices should i keep along with my optorite dd0203 ?

dvdrom 16x
or liteon cdrw 48x12x48x ?

Well I would Suggest That you keep your Liteon Writer if you do quite a lot of Writting CD's !!!
