hi...
i have a ps2 v4, that don't read any cd or dvd...seems that the laser don't work and it requires a lot of money to repair it.
i was thinking if it's possible to use hdd without a cd or dvd boot, by using the memory card for example.if was possible i could run my games using a sygate 120Gb for exemple right?and i didnt need the laser right?

if you use the memcard and the HDD, no CD or DVD would be needed, but i think you have to boot at least one time to pass the files to the memcard so...

ok, thanks for the help...
but if i ask to a friend of mine(who haves is ps2) to run the disc, to pass the program to my memory card, it will work?
i only need the memory card to run the program?
