I have tried to use CloneXXL to detect copy protections, but I'm not sure how it works. I clicked on Scan CD when I selected the burner drive. Then it asks me which folder to check. I just selected the burner drive because there are a lot of folders in there. Then there's an error and it automatically gave me 4 or 5 skulls. I heard that you can do a direct copy with a Dreamcast backup CD though. So no protection scheme is in effect. Will swapping my bootdisk and the backup game damage my Dreamcast laser? What is a good/fast speed to burn it at without getting errors? I know that I should burn at a low speed, but sometimes it's just frustrating to wait for it. I have a LiteOn 12x/10x/32x burner now and will soon install a Sony 52x/24x/52x burner. For copying Playstation One games, all I need to do is set the datatype to Playstation right? I don't need to use CloneXXL since under datatype it's listed already? Thanks for any replies. Still learning as the days go by. Kevin.
