I have been trying to get Nero Recode2 to work on Windows XP- Home. The System has 1GB memory, C-Drive WD S-ATA 80GB,D-Drive WD 160 S-ATA both connected to ASUS Asus P4P800 SE Intel 865PE 800FSB w/SATA RAID. a LiteOn SHOW-1633S 16x DVD+R 2.4x DL OEM Burner as Primary Master and a Liteon 16x DVD-ROM Tray Load OEM as Secondary Master. I have used Ver 2.0.0.7 and the 3.0?? Dec 15~ appro. version. I can burn-at-once to a DVD-RW 4X and burn to a DVD-R using the two pass method but most of the time when I use Burn-at-once on DVD-R 4X Kodak,or Memorix media I get an error just as the burn is completing. With version 2.0.0.7 I get a burn error within about the first minute of the burning operation. Other programs I COPY DVD2 and ClonneDVD seem to work fine but are slower.
I have loaded and re-installed the original software twice and the update for two different version but note there is a new update out today.
