DB72 -> BENQ 1620...Thanks (1/22/2005 5:40:25 PM) First...Hello ....great forum you all have here... just bought a DW1620 (01/20/05) and it was driving Me crazy till I found this forum.... Thanks you Emperor....had c9 firmware which has a conflict with nvidia's sw ide controller (5.10)...black screen of death numerous times would not boot ....upgraded firmware to t9 and all is well...very nice piece..but of course what do I know just got into dvd's....;) just wanted to say thank you to all who contribute to this fine forum 'dives back into reading" DB

emperor -> RE: BENQ 1620...Thanks (1/23/2005 3:41:12 AM) DB72 welcome to our forums, its good to see that you solved the problem, usually NVidia based motherboards have problems with IDE drivers, so...its suggested to update them at the latest available version...Updating firmware also may solve some problems. Enjoy using your burner and lets us know of any other problem/issue!
