ticondes -> LPCM x AC3 5.1 (11/26/2004 4:45:33 PM)

Hi everybody....

I was tryind to copy some DVDs and I noticed that in some music DVD such as Oasis and U2 Elevation, when I use a compression software, it shows two kinds of audio files.

1. LPCM 2-ch with 1.2 GB
2. AC3 5.1 ch with 351 MB

Usually, I always delete the 2-ch file and keep the DTS or 5.1 because it´s always have better quality, but in this case, the 2 ch sounds better than AC3 5.1 ch.

Anyone can tell me why ?[:D]

Thanks a lot !!! [:)]

The SIZE!

As I understand it, LPCM is uncompressed, so you have a basically CD quality soundtrack - are all the other 2-ch examples LPCM?
