nicw -> New BETA testers Needed - Limited places act fast. (11/13/2004 5:00:19 PM)

Folks,

I am looking for some users to test new scanning functions.

If you have one of the following drives, please email me nicw@bigpond.net.au, there are only limited places and priority is given to previous testers, so act fast if you want to participate.

Cyberdrive DX162D

Pioneer DVR-107
Pioneer DVR-108
Pioneer DVR-A07
Pioneer DVR-A08

Cheers
NicW

Any progress with the beta? Is it comparable with Kprobe or plextools scan?

I hope it is also the place to ask
if DVDinfoPro (v.3.48) supports BookType setting of DVD+R to DVD-ROM
with a Pioneer DVR-A07 writer ? (the seven, not DL writer)
or is there any firmware around (like a official IO-DATA) which can do this ?
Thanks ...

franz99 i think the IoData 1.18 firmware sets DVD+R to DVD-ROM automatically

Is such a IoData 1.18 firmware easy to find?
I had a quick look around without success ...

Are you sure you are talking about a Iodata to flash a Pioneer A07
I want to flash A07 not A08 !
And after if I get this IoData 1.18 firmware: flashing a Pioneer drive is not that easy and safe, or ?
I saw that with Pionner it is quite complicated to downgrade a firmware if there is a big problem

franz99 You have posted this same question at least 3 times so far and the answer is still the same:-
Unless Pioneer produce Bittsetting in the firmware for the 107 IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE BOOK TYPE

franz99 -> RE: New BETA testers Needed - Limited places act fast. (12/16/2004 1:24:30 PM)

it is NOT the question I asked !

so the next time I will post it in German so You will probably understand it better ...

It's PioData, not IoData I think.
