This is just a quick test, but it may show some problematic behaviour with specific CD-R media. Grab CDSpeed from www.cdspeed2000.com and under File->Options->Tests tick "Create DataCD->Verify Data". Insert a blank disc and the software will burn and afterwards verify the burned data. If all goes ok, it means that the drive will worked ok, else...there might be a problem [:I]
