btfans -> [Qn] Howto change booktype NEC 2510A fw2.15 (10/14/2004 10:04:23 PM) Hi, Anyone can teach me to use which safe software to set booktype to DVD-ROM, in my NEC2510A fw 2.15, I burn 'data' DVD-R with .mpg and .rmvb files but cannot read back by general DVD-ROM? Sorry, I am newbie, do booktype can be changed only for DVD+R/RW but not DVD-R/RW? Thanks,

emperor -> RE: [Qn] Howto change booktype NEC 2510A fw2.15 (10/15/2004 3:13:30 AM) DVD-R/RW media don't need booktype setting, and its not supported either from format.. What you describe is a not well burned media, the reader cannot read the disc correctly and you are getting this error mesage
