I am trying to back-up my pc games and came across a few that gave me a problem but the main one is Clive Barker's Undying. I have a Cendyne/Lite-on 24-10-40 cd burner and I have used Nero 5.5.9.0/Easy CD Creator 5 and CloneCD w/ClonyXXL. I went through all 3 programs many different ways and everytime they act like they are having a hard time reading the cd but it is a new game no scratches. on time it did copy (that went ok it took a long time) and so I installed it, but when I went to play it a message came up saying Please insert game cd-rom. Any programs/updates/tips or anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Well to copy protected CDs you have to use CloneCD or Alcohol or BlindWrite, and a few more, but Nero will not do the trick on these discs. First you have to find out the protection on the disc, then set CloneCD correctly to copy it. Once copied, if it is asking for the CD, try using the "Hide Media" option in the CloneCD tray icon.
