Hi
I have a CEC cd-transport that have a problem reading most cd-r discs out there. The only brand I have found that works are Proview CD-R 650 MB discs. And these are discontinued!!

I have compared many cd-r discs with comercial cd's and found that the inner circle are wider on the commercial discs.

I think this is the problem with my CEC cd-transport. The problem is that the cd-transport can read the info on the cd-r, but it can not find track one when playing cd-r's.
Does anyone know where I can get cd-r's that have a similar inner ring as the comercial discs.

This ring I reffer to is the ring berfore the lead in and track one.

I am not an expert on this matter, so any haelp would be highly appreciated.

Are you shure that it's the inner ring. Since this is first time I hear of it. I have seen players that couldn't read most cd-r's because of reflectivity problems.
Because of these problems they wouldn't recognize even the disc's.
Also if the problem is really the space between leadin and reading you could try to end some more dummy data between lead in and the 1st track. If am right Nero and CDRWIN(goldenhawk) support this.
