boondi -> Audio ts folder questions. (8/19/2004 6:38:38 AM)

Greets everyone.

What is the audio_ts folder for?
Am I correct in thinking I can record my vinyl at 24/192 khz or 24/96 khz onto my pc using cooledit pro and then dumping the resulting pcm tracks into the audio_ts folder on a dvd disk burnt with nero, which I can then play on my dvd video player. (Gasps for breath:>)

If anyone can shed some light on this subject, it would be most appreciated.[8|]

Yes guys I kinda gathered that its for dvd audio, but perhaps i should have asked

Suppose I have a 24/96khz pcm audio track....

Can I use nero to drop it into the audio ts folder and will it play as 24/96 on my dvd video player.

Suppose I have lots of 24/96 or 24/192khz pcm or lpcm audio.....

As above.....

What I want is to arkive my vinyl to the best possible format at the highest bitrate, i.e. dvd audio or dvd with audio tracks...

Has anyone done this, and if so , how and using what software..

Thanks again...[sm=rolleyes.gif]

Probably you would need something like a DVD-Audio authoring software, unfortunaly never have used them [:(]
