(8/14/2004 7:10:26 AM) just bought the new model DW-851SX Liteone External USB 2.0 DVD-RW ,but its a nightmare!! cannot get it burn any cd or DVD support emailed me to install firmware update,it wont allow it im wondering if it has anything to do with the XP home security settings it have,or I may have cut off some services ?[8|]

(8/14/2004 12:49:06 PM) Does your OS recognizes the drive?=yes Which software do you usually use?=nero 6.3 and mydvdv You can also remove the drive from its case and install it as internal to make the firmware upgrade...that defeats whole purpose of buying a USB ext burner,
