take a look from a passage from there web page "Gamecube Mods allow you to play all countries Original Games and PAL/NTSC authorised Back up copied Games on DVD Recordable Media" surely they mean dvdr, how big are gamecube cds? never seen one just curious! Are they not 4in or so like cd/cdr/dvdr/cdrw? how about 8cm cdr? i want to know the whole truth, do they store an odd amount like dream cast, but they said it wasnt possible with the dreamcast, got to find away! A Game Cube disc is 8cm. It's a miniture DVD-R I believe.

Yeah, I think the Gamecube discs are some sort of DVD format. I dont know much about it, besides that they have a really high texture-compression format, so they can fit more than you think on that little 1.5 gigabyte disc! They are the size of a CD-single, like the small CDs that bands release with only a few tracks on them. If anyone knows how much space those can hold, then we could probably do a little math. For instance: DVD: 4.7 GB GC disc: 1.5 GB CD: 700 MB CD-single: ??? If we can do a little figuring, maybe we can discover that the format is similar to DVD. One step closer to making backups of it!

Okay, well, the 8cm DVD-Rs fit 1.5GB and the 8cm CD-Rs fit anywhere from 125MB to 280MB (possibly 350MB, I havn't seen them, but I have heard of them). I now have access to 8cm DVD-Rs (made by Ritek)...of course they cost me 15.00 Canadian, but oh well, can you really put a price on a game cube backup??? LOL! Now, all I need is a DVD-Writer... I am VERY interested in the backing up of these games, and I hope it will be accomplished soon!

I do believe that GC discs are read counter clockwise. Even if you made the image and burned it, how would you get it to write correctly ?

no, the GC DVD-Rs are read standard clock wise, but the image may be burned in the opposite direction. either way it creates a problem. Though I still hold hope that it may be breakable!

Luna is wrong they are read clock wise the image is burned backwards and no there is no way to back up gc games and there isn't much hope Nintendo did a very good job on copyright software you computer shuts down if you use neo to burn it

I just can't believe that there is something that is un-copyable I don't think such a format could truly exist. If you can read it, you can copy it. It may be difficult, it may be VERY difficult, but it is never impossible. Somebody somewhere will find out how, and when they do, the world will know. [:D]

the copyright software is intregated in to the the game code it can't be stripped out unlless you are will to learn the gc's own personnal programming code

that's a new one !! LOL when securom came out they said it was uncopyable because it had some "Digital Signatures" that couldn't be reproduced, now all of us can copy it. i agree with "Dolphinius_Rex" if you can read it you can copy it, even if it very hard to do it.
