A few days after I got a 1213S - and from the look of that review, I wish I'd seen it first.

The SOHW-1213S seems to be a step backward - and a straw poll from the listings of a site that shows media ID for their selection, a lot of commonly available media is not listed in the firmware - since the Liteon's are relatively cheap drives, perhaps they should pay more attention to cheaper media.

For sure SOHW-1213S needs serious improvements at its writing stability...Hopefully LiteON with the 20 new CATS will improve the writing quality!
