Tron -> RE: LiteOn update???? (11/20/2002 5:54:28 AM) Download the "ZSxx to VS06" file. Then run it. Make sure you do not shut off the computer until it says it is done. Then reboot, log on the internet and go to the liteon page to get the latest firmware for your new 48125w drive. I think they are up to VS08 so after this coversion you will be at VS06, and will want that update. This meathod worked well for me. I wish the guy who wrote these would do the newer ones too, they work so well. Hope this helps.....

Dolphinius_Rex -> RE: LiteOn update???? (11/20/2002 6:15:52 AM) actually, you don't need to reboot after flashing from ZSxx -> VSxx or at least *I* never have. I've done it 4 times now with only rebooting after the final flashing (ie. VSxx -> VS08). It doesn't even ask you to reboot when you do the first flash.
