I hear people saying that this game uses SD2.51, but my copy has no protection at all! I can read and write an image perfectly in under 10 mins using my TEAC W524-E, did i just get a different copy of it or what?

Strange...You are copying that disc from original or backup disc?

It seems that the US release of both the first version and Serious Sam 2 were totally unprotected. I have both and neither had any protection. In Europe and possibly in Australia both versions were heavily protected. I really don't understand why. I guess they think all the pirates are 'over there'. [8D]

Another thing about these kick-ass games, the price was very good (I think i paid $15 for each at Best Buy). That's a decent price for excellent games with cutting-edge graphics. The gaming industry and the music industry should take note of this. People will pay rather than pirate if the price is right.
