I used Blindwrite to copy a VCD into the HDD. Then I copied it to a Promedia 32x Professional Class 700MB CD-R at 16x. The video and audio of the last few minutes of the VCD seem to be choppy. However, the rest of the VCD seems to be working fine.

Maybe I'm writing too fast? Or it's something with the Promedia CDs that I have?

CD/HDD specs:
Primary Master: Seagate 40GB HDD
Primary Slave: None.
Secondary Master: TDK CDRW241040B
Secondary Slave: SONY CD-ROM CDU5221

now for some even weirder news. I checked out the copy I made, and not suprisingly, it works on my VCD player. However, when I place it on my DVD player, it can't recognize the disc and refuses to play it. Odd.

Something with the media, or something else?

(btw, the original VCD works fine with the DVD player)

Are you sure your DVD player can playback CD-R media?

Yep. I watched a lot of other CD-R copies on that DVD player. Hmm...odd. Maybe it's something with the CD-R media?

hmm..could be. Except that the Promedia CD-R looked so reliable with it being shiny and all. LOL I'll go try with other brands.
