Sony0 -> NEW DAVID GRAY AUDIO CD (10/14/2002 9:06:32 PM)

Well is this the first to beat me, maybe, new promo david gray cd, cannot copy with clone cd, tryed numerous settings and all I get is a cd with the amount of time on, and nothing when playing, just sticks at each track, using a liteon dvd to transfer to hard drive then onto a liteon 16 speed cd writer under XP, Looks as the disc has been given extra amount of dummy tracks or data, 99 in total reads through EAC, Can get the cd to run through EAC But there is no sound, any help guys

Sorry to tell you this, but protected Audio discs are better copied by Plextor or Yamaha drives. The old Liteon just can not handle it. I love my liteon, but I do not do music, so it is my choice of drive.

Yep Tron I will confirm that the Yamaha F1 will make a back-up of it with Ease !!! [:D][;)]

So the actual cd writer is the problem, thought it may have been the liteon dvd rom transfering, thanks guys, see if i can get a yamaha somewhere.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE BURNER BUT THE READER.

No Lite On drive are good at reading protected audio.
So what you need for reading is a Plextor drive of the Yamaha CRW-F1. Then you could still burn it with a Lite On if you want.
I suggest the Yamaha CRW-F1 as a reader for protected audio at this moment unless you got a scsi card then you can also go for a Ultraplex cd-rom player.made by plextor.
