Luna -> Disc T@2 - Data vs Audio (10/13/2002 7:29:38 AM)

I cant help but notice that the difference between the two is rather large.

While burning clear text to a solid whit background on a Data CD, Disc T@2's come in sharp, crisp, and very easy to see.

On the other hand, Disc T@2's done on a Audio CD, with the same settings come in much much lighter, and they have to be bent properly into the light to be seen.

Does anyone understand why Nero does this ? It would seem to me that a T@2 could be burnt the same way on either Data or Audio. The image itself has nothing to do with how the CD was burned or anything of that sort.

What I am getting at here is that T@2's on Data CD's, are able to have a nice stand out (dark) background that can be seen in any light at any angle. But if I do that same design on an Audio CD, the background comes in many times lighter, and Extreamly hard to see if not put in the propper lightning. I also noticed that the background on an Audio T@2 does not seem to be a solid burn, but more rather a bunch of noise.

Any ideas ?

I personally haven't noticed any difference in the disc T@2 function when writing either data or audio tattoos. They both appear exactally the same on the discs that I have made.
