Intel Application Accelerator is known to cause problems with EAC ... and disabling any automatic features of Alcohol 120% can also help.

iced -> RE: EAC (5/26/2004 6:42:22 PM)

Any idea how to disable IAA? The only feature of Alcohol 120% I use is the virtual image drive. I disabled it, ran EAC and still the same. Next thing to try is IAA.

JeanLuc -> RE: EAC (5/27/2004 10:47:37 AM)

just deactivate it from auto startup ... :)

iced -> RE: EAC (5/27/2004 8:39:16 PM)

I checked the Startup start menu programs folder and also the Startup tab in System Configuration Utility and there was no sign of IAA. [8|]

OK ... then you did not install it ... :)

Have you tried uninstalling Alcohol ?

MP3Mogul -> RE: EAC (5/28/2004 8:56:10 PM)

Intel's Application Accel is not a problem with EAC, I have never experienced a problem with it personally. Could be a motherboard or chipset problem... But using genuine Intel chipset MB's I have not found a problem.
