The real manufacturer of the Emtec 24x disc in the new Yamaha test and which was unknown is MPO/Hi-SPACE
Atip-Code: 97m25s07f belongs to Hi-SPACE/MPO.
So now it isn't unknown any more.[:D]

Next time you might try the german cd-r database ([ulr]cdr-info.de[/url]
Also MPO would be identified by the newest Plextools or Plextors cd-check. Did you guys still use the old cdr-identifier 1.63 [?]
So like I allways say try cd-check or plextools for checking media since the really seem to recognize more media. Which seems to be proved one again.

Thanks for the notice. I think we used CDSpeed database, but probably PlexTools would be better solution as you say [:D]

Will plextools only work with a plextor burner, or can you use others with it as well? (like a liteON or AOpen?)

Well plextools will mostly work with Plextor burners only some features might work with the other drives. But don't expect much from plextools if you aren't ussing it in combination with any other drives as a Plextor drive.
