I have an hp 9710i, and I read somewhere that Clonecd doesn't work with my burner, is this true? And if so Is there anyway to fix this?
If I can't fix it, I'm planning on buying the liteon 24x burner... What do you guys think about that drive?

Hi Skaha,

I don't think your burner is working with Clonecd. You can see at http://www.elby.org/CloneCD/english/index.htm.
You can't fix it yourself unless you can update the firmware.
If you are planning to buy the Liteon 24x than your problems are solved. It works well with Clonecd and it can read and write almost every copy protection. I have one myself and I'm very happy with it.

I have the LiteOn 16x10x40 and it works great with CloneCD AND Safedisk2 protection, so far all copies i have done have worked in other readers, if thats any help to you
