MP3Mogul -> Windows Media Player Beta 9 Warning! (9/14/2002 3:54:36 AM)

Hello fellow audio enthusiasts. I was just watching TechTv and came across an interesting piece of information to share with you. If you have already downloaded Media Player 9 Beta and you have anything other than Windows 98 or Windows ME you could have a problem. If you have any other operating system WARNING read this:
Read the EULA for Windows Beta 9: When you accept the agreement, you give the RIAA the right to snoop on your drive (Media Player 9 Beta let's them) If you have MP3's on there and they want to, they can VAPE them and trash your system! Yes that's what I said! Microsoft has joined forces with the RIAA! This software also, is UNINSTALLABLE unless you have Win98 Or WinME!!!!! Be careful, if you want to download and use this software use caution.
This seems to be just another blow by Microsoft and the RIAA, another reason to switch to LINUX! We have the right to backup our software that we have legall purchased. You can go to EFF.ORG and write your senator (US Patrons) and let them know how you feel about this!!!
