hi, anyone know how to burn warcraft III cd correctly using clonecd?
I have liteon RW 40X12X48, so it should able to write protection cd.
but I need the correct setting to burn it.

And read through the thread and you will see that Tron and myself have put how to copy NeverWinter Nights we both have made a full working copy of it and it has the same protection as Warcraft 3!!!!

where can I download the version 4.x clonecd?
I just download CloneCD 4 Profiles.zip provided by some dude.
I think I will try it tonite and just confirm with you I'm gonna use
securerom profile.

Okay, can someone show me where to download the latest version of Clony XXL please? I guess I need it to go with CloneCD to copy Warcraft 3. I have made 10 coasters so far and it's getting very frustrating. Also, anyone know how exactly to make a working copy? Please help!!!!!

Hi Everybody,

Like jbchen, I would also like to clone a copy of my original warcraftIII for backup purposes. With clonecd3051, I've managed to zap a copy, but when I put the copied cd into the cd-rom to play, it says "please insert the correct cd rom", what have I missed?

I am using the Iomega-liteon 24x10x40 cdrw.

Hi, I have a Philips 24x cdwriter and have tried writing a backup copy of warcraft 3 with cd-mate following their directions. What happens is I get a copy of the CD but when I go to play the game to test the cd I get a message stating to please insert the correct cd. I've tried CloneCD with Clonyxxl with multiple settings and got the same error. Can someone help me please? Maybe I put the wrong settings in.

Hey guys, i just joined here becuz i really need to make a backup of Warcraft III and got CloneCD 4 and Clony XXL but i don't know how to use them. So if anyone please help me make a backup, it'd be greatly appreciated

the easiest way to do it and it does work regardless is:

a) make the image - preferably using clonyxxx and then clonecd
b) download alcohol 120% (http://www.alcohol-soft.com)
c) mount the image to Alcohol120%
d) if you now try and play it will NOT play
e) go into alcohol in the virtual-drive settings and go to Extra-Emulation. There check the second option (i.e. Secu-ROM)
f) You don't need the CD anymore, you can play it direct from your hard-drive. Plus its much faster!!

I would be greatly surprised if it didn't work...

To the best of my knowledge, CloneCD 4.2.0.2 can't defeat SecuROM 4.x. I was successful using BlindWrite 4.25 and NO need for emulation. Your Litey can backup this protection with ease m8[8D]
