joso_g -> skipping (3/29/2002 8:55:52 AM)

i have a liteon 24102b with the latest firmware, and i use feurio to burn audio cd's. When i burn an audio cd and play it in my car, i always get skipping, thought it was a defective mp3, but it's not. It would read fine the next time i listen to that track, but the same thing will happen to another track and so on. Instead of burning at 24x, i burned at 16x, cause i thought it would be better for the low quality media, but same thing happens. Any ideas why it does this. Is it ok to burn audio at 24x? As for what computer i have, athlon 1.2g, 512ddr memory, and my hard drives are running raid0.

Thanks in advance.

try to burn at 8x if that doesn't work try to burn at the slowest speed your burner allows. IF that doesn't work either buy a plextor burner like the plex4012, and then if you still have problem change your car player

Well your liteon is a great writter. Just try slowing it down. And some player just dont like CDRs.

Visit www.cdrtimes.net too. Another great place....
