As I understand it, Betablocker patches the "weak sectors" in a CloneCD image (of a Safedisk 2 protected CD).

As CloneCD (with some region fiddling or reg-hacking) can do this itself now, not usually needed!

ONE case, actually - apparently the latest BB can beat Safedisk 2.51, but the current CloneCD cannot do it unaided using AWS.

The other option, a fully SD2 capable drive, makes it a lot easier, and might make it possible without CloneCD - any RAW copier should do it!

Where? - if the link from CDRINFO is dead, no idea ... can't find it here!

well if this 'new' betablocker works like the first one you should expect more coasters than working backups !! but i've never seen this 'new' betablocker i cannot say.i will investigate and then i will post it here.
and about that second option that matthew was talking about not any RAW copier is able to do SD2, it must be a SD2 capable copier, there haren't many but they are increasing in number and they easy to find now just check the help of clonecd to check if a burner is SD2 cappable
