delerium -> Accurate Stream in EAC (3/15/2002 1:57:38 AM)

I have a sony dvdrom (external slimline for laptops) that is identified by EAC to be a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-C2402.

According to EAC's "User Reported Drive Features", it supports Accurate stream. True enough, when I let it auto-detect the features, accurate stream is detected.
But when I used Nero's CDSpeed to test the drive, it reported that the drive failed the accurate stream test.

Now im really confused. Should I trust EAC, or CDSpeed? :/

If the drive indeed does not support accurate stream, will the ripping quality be compromised even if i used secure mode in EAC, and specify that the drive does not support accurate stream?

Please advise. Thanks.

Probably EAC is saying you the true.
Nero is looking only the nodel detected in windows and it compare with its table of information
