I just tried twice to copy my Breath of Fire 3 Playstation CD and it failed both times. Here is the error log: I 3:24:18 PM CloneCD Version 3.3.4.1 started! I am also using the CloneCD Games database and it is telling me that BOF3 does not require any settings to be checked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

To make a copy of a PSX game you have to checkmark the boxs "Read Subchanel Data" and "Read Subchanel Audio" in the read section. Then in the write section you have to checkmark "Don't Repair Subchanel Data".............. Visit www.cdrtimes.net too. Another great place....

Hi,Try to locate and download a program called Clony..it is a great program that will scan you psx cd`s identify the protection used on the disc and then it will open clonecd with the correct settings required to make a working backup..... Good Luck... DONKY

Thanks Donky and Tron. Tron, I did use those settings and it created an error again. I can make a successful copy when I use a CDRW but not with a regular CDR . I did download ClonyXXL and I have included the messages I'm getting when I try to scan my BOF3 disk. Does anyone know what they mean? Any help would be appreciated. I have made 4 coasters already with this CD . First Error Box: Keine Aspitreiber geladen... Nach defecten Sectoren Scannen... Thanks Donky and Tron. Tron, I did use those settings and it created an error again but I did figure out what the problem was. I was trying to burn at the maximum speed of my drive (24X) with a 16X rated Ritek disk (Newbie error ). When I set CloneCD to burn at 16X I was able to do it successfully. Then is must be media. Try another brand of CDR. I normally go for the darker discs. I always have good luck with Imation discs. Visit www.cdrtimes.net too. Another great place.... and if you look around you will be able to find an english version of Cloney so that you can see what it is telling you...lol.... save it to the hard drive first - don;t do on the fly . Write at 8x , try different brand CD-r disc .
