I'm pretty new to this. Can you copy an Audio CD that is about 76min long onto a normal 650MB/74min cdr? or do i have to use an 80min disc? IS the Audio CD manufactured on a 80min disc?

Maybe if the media has such overburn space. Else use 80min CD

try this program: "cdrindentifier" i dunno where you can find it sorry :(

CD-Ident. won't help you (although it will help you finding the REAL manufacturer of the CD-R)
Just try to burn the 76 minutes on the 74 min media. Sometimes it works, sometimes not (partly depends on the manufacturer of the CD-R). However, I#d use 80 min CDRs in this case, there really is not much price difference between 74 & 80 min media these days...
