xeno -> Problem with CloneCD on Win2000 (1/26/2002 11:39:29 AM)

I'm having a problem writing CDs with CloneCD. I am using version 3.3.4.1 of CloneCD with an AOpen CRW2040 drive. I can read and create an image just fine, but when I try to write, it always locks the system up hard, reset necessary.

I have tried changing my IDE drivers to the Microsoft standard ones. I tried using the ASPI compatability mode, but it can't see any drives (I am using the LSI Logic ASPI for Win2k). I have tried different reading/writing speeds from default all the way down to 1X. I have no more things I can think of. Does anyone have any help?

I had a similar problem when i'd reinstalled 2000. :) Eventually i realised the problem was i hadn't reinstalled the drivers etc for my motherboard :)

I have no problem with clonecd under win2000 as I have justed upgraded. I did a clean install of win2k, BUT then installed service pack 1 and 2 first before adding clonecd. I used the standard IDE /SCSI drive in win2k.
