Sexbomb -> Philips writers, all SD2 capable? (9/6/2001 2:59:55 PM)

I've sold my old HP 9150i writer to buy a new one that makes good SD2 backups, and I found a very well priced Philips unit. I'd like to know for sure if (as I think) the Philips PCRW1610K model (16x10x40x) is capable of burning perfect SD2 backups (readable on any unit), and also if it is a good writer overall. Anybody knows of a good list of writers that make perfect SD2 backups?

The liteon 24102b is the cheapest, and also a very good solution for burning sd2 games. Also, the new plextor 24x10x40 can do perfect sd2 backups as well. Check this site's reviews for both drives.
