With the latest version of CloneCD i still can't use the burnproof feature. (I also have the Liteon 12102B)

I have flashed my creative RW1210E (= liteon 12102B) to LS3G.bin and now it works with clonecd (3.0.7.2)'s burnproof feature - has deliberately tried to halt the burning and it resumed fine and the resultant CDRW disc was readable as per normal. not sure about LS38.bin firmware though.

Are u sure RW1210E (= liteon 12102B) ? I think its the 12101B.

As far as i know the creative is a Liteon LTR-12101B and not the 2B.

you are right
sorry, the RW1210E = LTR 12101B

but my point is that, before I flashed the LS3G, clonecd wouldn't work with burnproof, but now it works. so maybe the same can be said for the 12102B - maybe the latest firmware may help

Clone CD Version 3.0.8.1 is now avaible.

New features:

Hardware requirements updated.
Burn Proof for LITE-ON LTR-12102B added.
LITE-ON LTR-24102B added.
Improved look of Language selection window.
Languages are now sorted alphabetically in the Language selection window.
Updated Japanese Language


Bug fixes:

Write Speed selection was grayed out for writers, which only support SAO mode.
Fixed exception, when clicking right mouse button in the first language selection dialog.
Fixed possible exception, when using WinASPI32 mode.
Same Bus detection did not work on Windows NT/2000.

Olli says that the LTR-1202B simply doesn't tell CloneCD about its Burn-Proof capabilities in its driva capabilities. In other words: A firmware bug.


I have try the new CloneCD version. But again there is no BurnProof available for my 12102b with Firmware NS1F. mmmm

Well i've downloaded and installed the clonecd upgrade and saw that again it wasn't burnproof and i wasn't able to check the burnproof feature. So i went to test it.

I pressed "Ctrl+Alt+delete" and waited for about 20 seconds so that there was no activity. -> the red light on my burner went out and my harddisk also stopped, then i preassed "Cancel" And YES YES YES it continues to burn my cd. I burned data and audio cd's, on the fly and with an imagefile at 4x (on the fly), 12x (imagefile CDR) and 10x (imagefile CDRW). I stopped the burningproces 6 times each session and every backup works perfect.

Now with Nero, InCD, Nero-mix and CloneCD if got burnproof at all time and a SD2-killer.

Burn baby burn.

And my firmware is : NS1F

Hello I'm not an experienced cd rewriter user , but I recently bought a liteon 16x10x40 rewriter and I am having a problem with it. I keep getting my cd burning stopped and the message cd tracking error. Does anyone know if this means my rewriter is broken or if this is an issue with this particular model. Also if anyone can give me any suggestions on how to fix it they would be appreciated, cos if I take it back to the shop I bought it in I will have to wait for a couple of weeks till it gets repaired.
