Question about bluray BD-R discs.
I now noticed Verbatim has their blurays in discount about same price than some cheap brand discs, only question mark for me is that Verbatim discs are LTH type and others are regular discs.

Lets compare Verbatim LTH discs mediacode: "VERBATIMu" and some cheap brand non-LTH discs are mediacode: "RITEK" or "PHILIPR04" or "MBI" all are 6x speed.
So all are about same price witch ones you guys would buy if you like to store data what should last years to come (but still do it cheaply!)?

I don't think that LTH BDRs are inferior to the rest BDRs in terms of quality. At least I am not aware of any longevity tests with LTH BDRs.

If I were you I would burn the discs at 6x and not any faster, as this is important for quality BDR recordings.

Good point, i have already done that and burned all my BD-R discs just 4x speed.
