Sully -> CDR won't play in CD player (12/11/2001 10:02:51 AM)

I used Nero CD copy to duplicate 2 audio CDs onto CDRs:
1 onto Sony silver-green 700MB
another onto Kodak Ultima silver-gold-green 700MB
When I put either into my Sony Micro Hi-Fi, it says "no disc", after spinning the CDR and trying to read it.
Is this due to using 700MB instead of 650MB, or is my player just incapable of playing CDRs?
Thanks!

Sounds like your player won't touch cdr's. My kids have this problem on their stereo but the cdr's work fine on mine.

I bought a buslink 16x10x40 usb 2.0 cdrw drive, bundled with Nero burning rom. I also had this problem??, however I contacted buslink by e-mail and was told to read the help, on audio player. It seems the software has a built in player it installs on the cdr when you select recorder, save track. I tried it and it worked. It makes an image of the tracts then burns, mine burned in about 3min 15 sec.

I haven't had the time to try again, but the one that won't play on my cd player will play on my daughters car cd player, which I assume is cdr compatable. That is where the problem lies, some older players don't recognize the cdr, they also play on my computer with nero media player.

Sorry about the lenghty reply, let me know if this works for you. I saw some other people whom seem to be having the same problem on the forum. I hope this helps. I think this method is also faster.
