Lugwalker -> Aborted CD burn attempt (12/2/2001 5:19:16 PM)

I use a 263mhz, 128mb ram, 8gb hard drive (5gb free) computer.
I recently started to use NTI Cdmaker 2000 Pro. My attempts at creating data cd's went well, but when I tried to create an audio cd (using a digital audio cd) from my mp3 collection the program would abort with the following message appearing on the screen:
This program has performed an illegal operation.......
CDMKR32 caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 014f:bff782af.

I have managed to write 1 mp3 onto a disk so the program and writer do function. However, when I decide to test and write a full complement of mp3's onto a blank audio cd I encounter the above problem. Would any of you folks have any solutions to offer? I do close down all unnecessary applications. Many thanks.

there are some mpe files that are not compatible with the audio cd format maybe those are causing the problems or maybe u shoudl just try another cd making program .

Thanks, jb. I used 'Nero' to do the job instead and it worked perfectly. I've burned 3 cd's since using it and they are perfect.
