I am successfull making a backup copy of Black and White, the games installs OK but slow. When I try and run it the opening splash screen takes about 10 times longer and when I hit the play button it just loads forever until I terminate the program.

I have a sony CRX140E CDRW that I use to read and write with. These are the settings I use:
- Read sub channel data from data and audio is "on", everything else is off.
- Read speed is 1X
- Write speed is 1X with the mode set at RAW DAO
- Amplify weak sectors is on.

Any suggestions.

could be media problem and also if you have a slow reader.try different media,that might help also sometimes the encryption is not properly copied try reading and writing again

olli has stated at cloneclinic that those sony models won't produce a good copy of sd2 even using amplify weak sectors. your only solution it to use unsafedisk or a no-cd patch. many have also reported that betablocker doesn't work with those drives either.
