I have been successfully using Lame for ages - no probs.

Now, all of a sudden, when I encode a WAV file (that is fine) I get an MP3 that is only half the length of the WAV !!!

Has the universe changed around me? Nothing in my system has (although I did delete and re-install Lame)

Please help.
