Hi, it stands for 'S'afe 'D'isk 2, put simply a type of copy protection that uses intentional errors on the original CD that when copied cannot be written back to the CDR because MOST writers automatically repair the errors, and don't write back the information 1 to 1. Philips and Aopen and Plextor are a few CDRW's that CAN write it back correctly, but it depends on your drive model and firmware.
